Calculators #
Right Triangle Calculator This was used to figure out how long to make the legs on the 3 tier planter. The original build was 24 inches tall and I wanted it to be 30 inches, this gave me the exact length needed for the 30 degree angled front leg.
Compound Angle Calculator This is the best collections of woodworking calculators I ever found. I may even try to make a 20 sided die out of a 2 by 4 after looking at this page!

Simple 3 Tier Herb Planter Build. Director’s Cut #
This is another easy build that should be a good money maker. 4 cedar pickets and about 30 minutes to put it together.
I’ll be editing this video down from the “Director’s Cut” to just show the basics, but I wanted to leave this one long as it gives a good look at the current state of my shop that hopefully I’ll be able to look back and laugh at in a few years.
Z Hopper Bird Feeder #
This is a very simple build, and the most popular bird feeder I have built so far.
Pentagon Planter / Bird Feeder #
I built this as a challenge to myself after getting board making 3 Picket Planters over and over again. I made a couple of batches then moved on to the “Z Hopper Design”
I haven’t seen one bird eat out of the Pentagon bird feeder since I hung it up. The seed has actually started to sprout. The Z Hopper feeder almost always has a customer munching away.
